Les Jeux Omlypiques veulent faire honneur aux grandes personnalités et Amitabh Bachchan qui est une légende du cinéma bollywoodien a été invité à porter la torche olympique le jeudi 26 juillet 2012 à 10h30 à Londres.
C'est Amitabh Bachchan qui a donné la nouvelle à travers le réseau social Twitter :
"OK !! HERE IT IS: Have been
invited by London Olympic Organizing Committee to carry the torch in the relay tomorrow."
"Honored to be asked to carry
the Olympic Torch in London at Southwark around 10:30 AM! A proud moment for me and country,"
